Simple & Easy Sausage rolls that taste great.
Looking for something quick & easy to make with the kids on the weekend or even after school. Why not try home made sausage rolls with our very own sausage meat.
- 1x CWB Sausage Meat
- 4x sheets of Puff pastry
- 1x egg (beaten)
- Cooking time 20-25min
Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
While waiting for the oven to pre heat lay out your pastry sheets on the bench to defrost. In a cup beat one egg using a pastry brush and brush over the sheets of pastry.
Using scissors cut off the corner of the Sausage meat bag to turn it into a piping bag to easily place the sausage meat into the pastry. Pipe a straight line onto the party going from the top to the bottom. Next we are going to roll the pastry around the sausage meat ill the seams overlap. Once it is over lapped cut the pastry to separate it from the sheet and place it on a tray lined with baking paper. Repeat process until there is no sausage meat left.
Cut the sausage rolls into the desirable size pieces, brush the top of the pastry with the remaining egg & place in the oven. Cook pastry till it is golden brown. Remove from the oven & serve with tomato or BBQ sauce.
